Re: Jammit

Being able to hear Jeff's track on Rosanna isolated from the rest of the mix is worth the price of admission alone! Thank you Jammit! Marc nailed Mo's Vacation. Way to go Marc!! Oh yeah, your transcribing is pretty good too :-)

Re: Carlos Vega recommendations

Pick up "For My Friends" by Greg Mathieson. Carlos sounds real nice on this one. Saw Carlos play at the Spud many times. Also caught him with Burning Water. Man do I miss Jeff and Carlos!!

Re: Buddy Rich Memorial: Who was there?

There are a few different Cheese recordings. I saw almost every Dog Cheese/Baked Potato performance including their very first gig there. That first gig was almost like a religious experience. I thought I was gonna come unglued.

Re: Buddy Rich Memorial: Who was there?

@Chooch - Yep, the seats were nice. I'm not sure if I was studying with Gregg at that time though. He always was super great about including me in these type of things. I was sitting at home one day and he called up and said, "What are you doing? I'm at Mad Hatter Studios getting ready to recor...

Re: Buddy Rich Memorial: Who was there?

Steve is correct. Not only was I there for the performance, I was also there for the rehearsal and dress rehearsal. Those were magical times. On par with Hogwarts or the Shire.
