I thought the same thing when I saw the video .. the drummer's name is Chris Maas - not familiar with him - seems to be a London based session player....

FYI - realized nobody had mentioned here that the Steve Gadd Band is playing a live- streaming benefit for the Baked Potato club at 7:00 pm Pacific - 9:00 pm Central time tonite ... I checked out a streaming show there on Weds - the quality of both the video ( 4 cameras, I think) and audio was excel...

It's not as obvious on that version, but if you listen to the same tune on the " Greg Mathieson Super live At The Baked Potato" CD, the groove Jeff is playing is his version of TOP's " Soul Vaccination" verse section! Great stuff on that disc - any Porcaro fan should check it out...

Interesting - I had never tried the discography on Vinnie's site - I have the same problem as Pocketplayer - the buttons do nothing - can't scroll in any direction.... browser problem ( I'm using Chrome) or ....?

Here's what I use - Tama multiclamp with a short gooseneck and an Ipad Holder ( the kind that usually go on a mic stand ) - an similar iphone holder should work also...

I've used this with a Mic clip clamping a Tama Rhythm Watch also... I have it attached to my HiHat stand....

Saw Gavin's clinic last night in Dallas - fantastic show - educational AND entertaining .. great stories ! Rob, be sure to ask Gavin about the Shaggs - :) Ha !!!
