When you have trigger finger or thumb, the finger gets stuck after you bend it . Sometimes its very difficult to get the finger to straighten out even when you try to straighten it with your other hand. It happens because the tendon develops a nodule and gets caught in the sheath tunnel.

I suffered from carpal tunnel syndrome and trigger finger problems for many years. I tried Acupuncture, ART, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy with little relief from any of them.
