Call a drumteacher and just focus on reading.
I have been teaching 30 years and had no one that don`t get it..
It´s not that hard..
2-4 lessons and you are on your way...

Ot: The best in ear there is?
I am getting in ear monitors and i want the best there is with the best noise isolation.
Have to be soft silicone and not acrylic..

Anyone out there got advice wisdom or would recommend some others?

It has a very special almost flat hoop on the top head on the snare.

What mac do you have? I can 100% recommend Presonus 16,0,2 studio live! Small and great sounding ,very flexible, great drivers, easy AND not expensive. I have been recording on and of 20 years and think the preamps sound great with drums... I got mine 2 days ago, and in 20 minutes i was recording my...

Yes the sound must be a temporary mix..really bad I wonder how he would sound on a Yamaha 9000 with pinstripe and a big pillow in the bass drum..;) There is always the thing with unison hands on the snare drum and that Carlock tomlick that really is a variation on a lick Vinnie always did in the 80:...
