I found a new way to learn tuplets and move more free with them..
Anybody of you heard of the reference rhythm metod?
At first my drummer brain thought not, but this is an awesome app..
I used it on some of my older students and it works..

Sounds like you listen more to more fusion drummers playing jazz than "jazz drummers" doing it...
Have you done your history work and listen to jazz drummers from way back?

They take a intellectual approach with the music and not a tap your foot approach..
I can stand 45 seconds but i am conservative with some modern musical stuff....
