Re: NAMM 2018 thread!
I'll chime in on the EAD10. It's an amazing practice tool for playing along with music. You can plug right in to the aux in and everything is in your phones. Use the free Rec N' Share app for iOs and you can import songs from iTunes. It will analyze and give you a click, you can speed up or slow a s...

Yamaha EAD10
I'm curious how many of you have tried the new EAD10, and what your impression was. It's a really cool piece of gear that I'm having an awful lot of fun with.

Re: New RC.
You watch and read all this and you have to wonder just how much R&D was actually required to reintroduce this line. Those three years of meetings were for what again? Determining the shell thickness, bearing edge, weighted vs. non weighted lugs, which version of YESS, inner or outer bead on th...

I love this band I just shipped my backline Absolute Hybrid Maple to New Orleans for Larnell to use on the latest record and DVD. From the guest list on the record it should be awesome.

Re: To Whom to WILL my $1 Million Autographed Head- IDEAS ?
Might I suggest the Rhythm Discovery Center? It's the Percussive Arts Society Museum in Indianapolis, IN. They have hundreds of historical items on display. I think that it would be a great destination for such a cool drum head. I could help you contact Jeff Hartsough regarding this if you are inter...

COULD YOU BE LOVED. The original is unbeatable, but here Lauryn Hill and her band push it and make some cool arrangements. They start it in a common way, but soon they...and I love Lauryn singing here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ConP6BjtQE4 In the other side, TOTO plays here one of the &%¨*...

Re: NAMM 2014
Finishes are a tough thing, maybe one of the hardest things to figure out what will sell and what won't. And when you think you have it, trends change and it's up in the air again. Sure, the standard Solid Black and Cherry Wood, etc. will always do well. You still have to step out of the box some an...

No, PHX will remain where it's always been made, Yamaha Music Craft im Hamamatsu. Sakae never built PHX, so the factory move didn't affect that series.
