Re: Remo Coated Ambassador X

Id say medium. Bottom head just about same. Maybe a touch higher. The floor toms are a bit lower, but above wrinkle. Never have my 10 and 12 toms on this kit sounded better. I dig the response. I absolutely love them. I know many of you are not fond of DW, but these heads put these drums exactly where I want them. They feel great under the stick as well. Im sold. I have a Yamaha Maple custom snare from the 90's. I want to try the X14 on that next. Cant find one locally.

Im hoping for a slightly deeper tone than the usual sinlge plys. If any one is interested in my opinion I will p...

Re: Kids choosing video games or instruments...

Julian, of course there are things to do such as you mentioned. But in all honesty, after actually hitting the drums for a few hours practice during the day, its good to do other things. Im not a full on professional where Im recording all day then have to come home and practice for another 3 hours ...

Re: Kids choosing video games or instruments...

Being drummers, most of us if we practice in our house/residential neighborhood, cant practice after a certain time. I feel guilty sitting and playing video games if I have time to practice. So video games start when it gets dark. Granted, I am an adult who hopefully knows how to make a wise decisio...
