Re: WHAT'S UP WEEKEND CHATTY!!!!!!!

Ditto on the car...I once put rubber pads along my dash way back! I do get odd looks with two sticks on wheel...and used to have a stick shift! I was flying strong on the steering wheel--angle of arm resting on door rest but didn't fully transfer to pad. Same with mattress... low rebounding surface ...

"Odds, I always wondered how effective the superdrummer schools are...those cats are always busy...how much attention can they really give or is it just vids posted to subscribers as a way to make income." --I was referring to Dave, Virg, and others who promote their online "schools&q...

Re: WHAT'S UP WEEKEND CHATTY!!!!!!!

Tico Torres in da house! Ummm, I mean Kaide. If Kaide was on Sat Night Live he would be Darrel Hammond or Phil Harman! If Kaide played the Bonzo Bash at NAMM he would actually interpret the tunes like JB. If Kaide plays Pamela he actually plays a jazz triplet on the hats (all the way through)...peop...

Re: DAVE WECKL - The thread about Dave

Agreed Kurtis...those toms just are perfect...his snare is more "boxy" here
which I love...his tight ergonomic set up pre-Freddie I did as well...just
an attack machine. I saw Dave in college w/Chick around this time, had no
clue who he was...not a drop of sweat on his brow after the set.

Re: Assorted videos / YouTube thread

That was a Frank teaser video...I saw the 1 hour plus time stamp and then quickly got bummed with 5 seconds of a cymbal roll. Too bad...Frank's first instructional video was a flawless effort of a drummer carving through different grooves and feels with gorgeous technique...hands that made me wonder...
