Re: Hearing Loss

Don't know about you, well, I do, sort of, No, you don't know me. You're jumping to conclusions and insulting me in public, hidden behind a fake name. Neither are you familiar with Dr. Neil. His book covers look terrible, but you can't judge a book by its cover. The works cited list in his ototoxic...

Re: Hearing Loss

I hope not Kurtis! And it probably isn't. Direct damage from that stuff is usually temporary (most of it anyway). It is the extra damage from noise that is the bigger danger to drummers. The feeling of clogged seems to be a a mental, top-down effect. Because the ear isn't hearing as well as expected...

Hearing Loss

Hello HODers, I just updated Anatomy of Drumming with a new chapter on Hearing Loss. It has something you probably never heard about how many medicines can multiply the damage to the ear from loud noises. (yes really) Please share it! Looking for gear for a school at NAMM

I teach at a nonprofit where I can offer sliding scale lessons. This place is currently on a wait list and has over 700 students per term. When I go to NAMM I would like to help them out by looking for a connection for low-cost but decent quality small-sized instruments. They can sell these, rent,et...
