Re: What metronome do you use?
What's better about Tempo advance over normal Tempo? I can see lots of features that technicians might really go for (interesting subdivisions and such), but not much that a gigging drummer might benefit from! How much does it cost?

That Gibralter stuff looks great! And I'll have to see if any of the local stores have those Ludwig ones... It'd be good to see/try them first off...

Interesting stuff guys. I must check out backbeat... It seems well regarded, but I can't see from the pictures how easy it would be to use on a gig...

Brilliant! That kind of marketing is what it's all about...
I've always wondered what the logical conclusion of those sort of schemes is... Pre-order, Support the band... then throw your money at them!
It's like those people who bought the 'I am Rich' app for £1000... before apple took it down!

You could look into Google Checkout... That's appearing more and more across the internet, and works well whenever I've used it!

Re: What metronome do you use?
These all look great! Thanks for the tips! However , Does anyone find them a bit fiddly to use on a gig? My band moves really swiftly between the songs, and since the drummer is the only one who hears the click, it's all about getting to that next tempo quickly. I'm in a fear of the wrong button bei...

Re: What metronome do you use?
Hey Guys, This is kind of an old thread - so my apologies for resurrecting it... perhaps this would be better in a new one - let me know the etiquette! I've read over all the posts, and there isn't any significant mention of a great metronome for Live Gigs. I'm looking for something that: ⋅&nbs...

Re: What's the lightest hardware out there?
Hey Guys,
This is such an awesome post. I play with loads of drummers and their traps case is the biggest bind - heavier than the sub in most cases!
Any clues where I might be able to get some of that Axis hardware in the UK?
