For what it's worth, I don't think someone who views this clip as overplaying necessarily can't, "hear" what's going on. Also, while it has been 10+ years (wow) that club pretty much sounded like this vid, especially if you were stage right as you were behind the house speakers.

I think they sound fantastic.

I tried using RIMS on a Maple Custom that had YESS mounts. The Yamaha lugs are placed at the nodal point and as a result, there's not really enough room for the RIMS mount to wiggle on the smaller rack toms. Didn't sound any better either and I went back to the YESS mounts which are now my favorite....
