That was sick.... One of the few that can push the boundaries of drumming but do it in a musical way..

Do you mean intermediate as a student, purely knowledge and vocabulary/technique , or on a professional level where the content and complexity is irrelevant but the nuance/feel dictates the skill level?

It's all a matter of context... Chops and groove should be relative to the music being played.. You couldn't hire Steve Gadd to play in a Death Metal band.. So for that music he wouldn't have the "Groove" needed.. Ha ha, that's using the term "Groove" differently than most of the...

You're right about us not being their primary target market,.. But young people check out this forum as well.... Your'e exactly right Rob,... Most recorders have a built in auto leveling limiter... I can't stand the sound quality of albums these days... We have so much awesome technology that's so cheap in comparison to the pre digital days... But when a mastering engineer gets ahold of it they usually destroy...
