Re: new Satriani cd

I've never understood this, except that I do understand that Satriani needs a name to move his product. Re: Vinnie's new cymbals

Re: OT: Led Zep Disappointment

Re: The Intersphere

be fair I felt there WERE spots where he was able to do his stuff...but you have to listen to the entire track to hear those spots....somewhere around 2:30 or so he does a nice triplet fill that falls incontrast to what is going on but works...later on the instrumental break seems driven by what he ...

Re: MP's rage outburst on stage.

No excuse for Mikey's behavior at all here...none. All drummer have eqipment problems...not all throw shit around and publically humiliate the techs... Hell the cymbals probably got busted up and I am sure they were not his to bust up. MacAlpine looks like he wanted to leave right there. Likely the ...

Re: VC on the cover of next month MD.

Right ...I was referring more to an earlier post...in terms of sustain. I believe someone was commenting on dead tom sounds. As far as projection...well DW alot of the time is a maple shell...typically not your 1st choice for projection. Birch would be better for that. But I can say I've played my m...

Re: VC on the cover of next month MD.

I think alot of people get turned off by DW because they see them everywhere now....I guess I understand that on some level or another... I am glad Wackerman was brought up....he was playing DW looooonnnnngggg before the popularity boom occured and yep his drums always sounded good...in fact I prefe...
