Re: HODers VIDEOS TOPIC - Your own drum videos here
This is great, I love how into it you are! It feels different to playalong to the song when you're truly filling the hole where the drums should be... That K custom dark crash as hihat, I know you cut to it at one point but I couldn't make out the size - is it 17" pair of hats?! I don't normall...

Re: Quarantine Chatty!
I really appreciate Drum Centre of Portsmouth's forensic approach to video reviews. It feels like almost whatever kit / snare you're interested in, they've done a comparison video on.

Re: HODers VIDEOS TOPIC - Your own drum videos here
Pocketplayer thanks man! That's really kind feedback! The snare is a Noble & Cooley I bought last year. I sold I think 4 snares for around £1000 (including a vinnie sig Gretsch) to buy a single snare for £1079 and I have ZERO regrets. I feel like I could have done every single gig / band / thing...

Re: HODers VIDEOS TOPIC - Your own drum videos here
I have never posted a video on here before as my playing is waaay below the HOD standard! However I'm posting this because I used an app I've only just found out about, called moises.ia, to reduce the volume of the original drums. Sturla (lovely playing Sturla!) was talking about finding a drumless ...

Re: VINNIE - The thread about Colaiuta
A decent amount of great Vinnie chat on WTF with Marc Maron, latest episode with Tal. Didn't realise Vinnie got Tal into Jeff Beck's band, or that Crossroads was her first gig with that band... Quite the drama about getting to the gig too!

Re: So, racks. (DW, Gibraltar.)
My buddy and I bought a Gibralter cage and he had the top half anf I had the bottom half - cheaper than buying two racks, by a way. I have to say though, I used it less and less and then got rid of it completely a couple of years back. Even for complicated setups with x-hats etc, it's easier to set ...

Re: I AM DRUMMER
Cool, I'm curious to see what your results are with the EAD10. When you create your video, try using a few different presets on the EAD10. I love mine, especially for practice, but I can't say I'm thrilled with how the bass drum trigger thing sounds. It doesn't quite pick up my last floor tom eithe...

Re: I AM DRUMMER
I'm not really one to be interested in video reviews of most music instruments; not beyond the manufacturer's own videos anyway. I think there is just way too much emphasis on equipment instead of actual music performances. And by music, I mean actual live music, with other musicians, as opposed to...

Re: BENNY GREB - New videos
Yeah the nationality thing is a valid point. Although someone like Manu Katche (French) has the same thing - developed his musical identity with artists like Gabriel (and Sting). Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he NEEDS to do this for himself. He's got a great career going and he seems happy, and...
