I wonder why he went to that far right ride position for that period of time? It was only while he was with Ludwig too, wasn't it?

I think he still uses it now on heavier gigs.

Re: 2023 Chatty!

I hate DT, I'm not a big fan of Portnoy and Mangini is one of THE most horrible humans on the planet. I watched him being throroughly nasty to a Zildjian female meber of staff and a member of staff from the venue where he was playing for the last Zildjian day in London. A friend of mine's son, his d...

Re: VINNIE - The thread about Colaiuta

I think I may have asked before, but does anyone have a bootleg of a Brandon Fields gig in the 80's with Vinnie and Tim Landers? They play a tune called Bullfunk, during Tim's bass solo Vinnie takes it out quite a bit. It's amazing! I had it on cassette and I can't find it.

Re: DAVE WECKL - The thread about Dave

Not many people could claim that they can play it better than when they recorded it, thirty years later!

Re: Bill Bruford

I saw Bill play his last ever gig at Ronnie Scott's club in London. It was with the Earth works band and it was quite a night. Very very special! Hope it was recorded somehow? Saw Bruford play on 3 occasions. First time when he played as a duet with Patrick Moraz in the mid 80s, great gig. Then wit...
