Your Latest Fav Piece-a-Gear?

Anyone get anything recently gear wise that you're really digging? My last buy still has me smiling when I use it. Even if its not the most exciting thing in the world. I usually like to use a cowbell positioned "ala Weckl" (and many others, of course) on the kick hoop. Often, the mounts t...

One of the best examples of Moon's out there, fill filled, yet still grooving songs is The Real Me.

Re: Dave Clark/DC5

I caught the last five minutes of it. Looked like it was cool. Don't know allot about DC5. I'm a Beatles guy when it comes to 60s stuff. Was searching for when it would be on again and couldn't find it so, thanks!

Nice job! Cool that you break it down in chunks. The V-Drums seem like a great tool to teach with.

Wow… quite a story. Guy sounds like a real jerk.

One thought struck me... With the actual DMB touring like there is no tomorrow, year in and year out, where is there a market for a tribute band? ;)

Good luck with the Santana band. Sounds like a blast.

Re: It's time for a new recording interface

I've had one of these for about a year. So far it's been good. Nice and quiet pre amp. Enough XLR inputs for kick, snare, two toms, two floors, and two overheads. Not too pricey either. http://tascam.com/content/images/universal/products/535/main.jpg http://www.musiciansfriend.com/pro-audio/tascam-u...

Re: VINNIE - Vintage videos...OK or not vintage.

Wow. He is burning on those videos! New drum love? Let's hope the honeymoon lasts a long time.

I dig the Paistes. That bell sound is almost a requirement to play Police songs.

Man… he is still so fast. See him going up to his crashes at almost light speed? The man is 58 years old. Unreal.
