Re: **help** : Gerry Gaskill of Kings - X

I bought it, but the server is blown. I emailed them and they're going to hook me up. FANTASTIC band. I saw them at a small club in Detroit. it was so loud...but pristine. Loudest show I've been to that I didn't want to leave. The vocals were just unreal. Every harmony perfect. Gerry killed me, with...

Re: Vinnie signs deal with Paiste.

This is still a pretty big shakeup in the industry.

Vinnie had everyone buying A Customs. If they push him hard, they could certainly take some market share.

Re: Vinnie signs deal with Paiste.

Classic 80s Paiste sound. They sound way different than Zildjians. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnCF93vjE3w http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6u4X-obat4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5-W2jvy6ps http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8ZNfzqUr3Y I have one of these, not purchased from MyCymbal.com. http://...

Re: Vinnie signs deal with Paiste.

He mgiht need to go to bigger crashes to get a fuller sound.

I play 2002s, and notice they can be a little "specific" in terms of volume, sound and pitch compared to Zildjian.

Re: Vinnie signs deal with Paiste.

Will he start playing Colorsounds?

A Customs struck me as close to Paistes actually.

If this means more cymbals added to the 602 line that's great.

Today on Bodyshaping: twenty ways to incorporate hair metal into your routine.

Looked sorta fine to me, in a 1989 sort of washed out hair band way, I've seen plenty of guys just like that. You won't get that gig if you don't do that stuff.

Pat Buchanan would love you guys.

Yes, let's do away with global trade, makes sense, we can all be agrarians, like the people in North Korea are.

Steve Smith with Montrose in 1978

Too good to lose this one in the weekend thread. A keeper video, a solo from hell. You'll see that he takes intense drumming to a pretty highly technical level. Like he wanted to do it. Holy cow, lots of stuff from the Captured solo, and in good detail. I mean, I've never seen him play those live, e...
