Re: Vinnie spots the camera...

Thanks for posting the re-posted video, amoergosum. I felt that by starting back at the guy and making faces, Vinnie was trying to make the cameraman feel awkward just as he feels when people are "staring" at him/focusing on him using cameras. He was obviously trying to show that he does n...

Re: VINNIE. Vintage videos

Yeah, Vince on "Crossroad", he's really no joke and I really think that it's a must have. "Avenue D" could be my favorite track, or "Crestline", but at end I think that "Secrets" could be the one. :D So many good tracks, I don't know... "Crestline" ...

Re: What's Dennis actually playing here?

I think what your talking about is when he is soloing over the LRR (with his feet), is that right? A time reference in the videos would be useful for us to understand you better. I remember this being explained in an instructional DVD, maybe by Steve Smith in his History of the US Beat?

Re: Vinnie/Gretsch divorce?

Hey JohnDrum,

Those pics are taken from the trap gig at Los Angeles Music Academy that Vinnie did with the Russell Ferrante and Jimmy Haslip back in 2003. I'm glad this thread is back on first page, really interested to see what he chooses and the reasons that are given.

Cheers!

Re: Here's some Vinnie for you...

Could somebody share on traders den or other sources too? I'd really appreciate it as I'm having trouble with my port-forwarding. I haven't been able to seed and my share-ratio has gone below 0.25 disabling me from downloading on dime anymore.

Vinnie w/ Michael Sembello

Hey Guys, All this stuff being posted lately with Vinnie has reminded me of how many boots I have which I used to watch/listen to lots. Revisiting some of them I've realised that I've lost my hard copy of "The Bridge" Concert by Michael Sembello. I've been googling for a torrent of the sho...
