Robert Schwieger wrote:fyi.. to embed videos from vimeo.com you need to use the following format. (It took me hours to figure this out for posting to my blog)

[vimeo 123]

so it's bracket, vimeo, space, the number of the video and a bracket.

I don't think Steve has implemented vimeo embedding.

Re: Name changes!!

I always preferred to use my real name on the Internet, so this is no different! :) Me too, I just use my last name. Always have, online. I'm Morgenthaler everywhere. So much so that I got a bunch of followers on twitter the other day, because they thought I was this huge Venture Capital Company ca...

Re: The infamous Polnareff tour dvd solo by Virgil

Ugh.... that last shot is from the Freakhouse days, or whatever that band was. I don't think he actually had the second kick connected to a pedal. I seem to remember him saying around the Vai gig time that he still used the double pedal and the second kick was for looks only. Yup, as the pictures s...

Re: The infamous Polnareff tour dvd solo by Virgil

He has actually been playing two bass drums now and then throughout his career. He just grew fond of the single bass drum setup over time and along with the drastic improvements in the action and quality in double pedals over the years, this is an easier setup. This is a clip from his 'Obsessive Rhy...

Steve Holley, unsung hero

I've always loved Holley's playing on the 1989 Joe Cocker Live album.

Here's the groovy 'Feeling Alright':

But I really enjoy listening to that whole album.
He's a great drummer, and it's not often people have even heard of Steve.
