Was over my buddies house today. He has a full blown $80,000 studio in his basement. After I recorded a tune on drums for him (for free) he played this new Joss Stone Soul Sessions 2 album for listening pleasure. Good music. Drums are Very stiff. No grease. nice ideas and execution. She sings great....

the last two tunes are sick. vinnie gets a long solo to open a tune and it's just insane. the last tune is off of sketchbook. he goes off on that. holy mother of energy. he hits so freaking hard!

Would love to attend this. Shame the Philly area doesn't have a drum shop. Just piss ant GC's. Wanna ask him which tunes he recorded on the new Jason Mraz album. Some really nice drumming on the album. Guy gets plenty of studio work.
