True. And not much you can do with them once they loosen up. I haven't had much luck at least.

I have some old Tama stands that have a similar looking hole with set screws in them. They re-tighten ok.

Did you try tightening up the Allen screw in that hole just below the round tilter yet?

Ouch... I was feeling pain for her during that solo. Classic, awkward "a jazz drummer playing a rock kit" thing going on. Plus, the thinner sticks she uses, and the fact that she plays top down (cymbals loudest, drums less) makes for a not so great application on a "not jazz" kit...
