Re: DAVE WECKL - The thread about Dave
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8QlOnwz3rGM That's one of the most ... "liquid" ... open solos of his I've seen in a long time .... ...proving, once again, that touch is *everything*. Yes! and Yes! I was at that show and Dave killed it. I've seen Keith with Oz a few times and as much as he...

Re: Andy Newmark
I agree, a great interview that covered a wide range of topics. Very touching.
His playing on Gary Wright's 'Dream Weaver' and Sly Stone's 'Fresh' had a big influence.
I recently became reacquainted with an article he wrote in Modern Drummer called Quintuplet Rock. Great stuff!

Re: Essential Jim Keltner?
Both Frisell albums, 'Gone, Just Like a Train' and 'Good Dog Happy Man' are fantastic with Keltner playing with a multiple snare drum setup. Re: Official Virgil Donati thread
Jeppe, I hope you are doing well sir.
Do you know if Virgil and company plan to add more dates to this tour Stateside? I caught them twice last time and would like to see them again.

Re: Anyone Have An Update On Dennis Chambers?
^^ Thanks for posting these Paul! This was prior to his illness by a few months if I recall. A couple friends and myself drove up to Nashville to see a clinic he was doing. He was on fire as usual. Chester Thompson was there and let Dennis use his in-ears. He stopped by our table and shook hands and...

It's the new City Winery. The same people that run the ones in New York and Chicago and is top notch in every...
