Re: HODers VIDEOS TOPIC - Your own drum videos here
About the clip above- 3 years ago, here in northern Colorado, a prominent local drummer, Tim Elliot, was in a country band that was involved with a fundraiser/appearance/performance to benefit St. Jude Hospital. Tim was so moved by the experience and the plight of those kids that he decided to do so...

Re: SIMON PHILLIPS - The thread about Simon
That U.K. Drum Show solo above is just....so cool. Pure “Simon” in every aspect, and a pleasure to listen to. DO NOT listen thru your phone though. This one has to be played through headphones or through proper speakers to get the full effect. MONSTROUS sound coming off that kit, especially the bass...

Re: The Peter Erskine Thread

Re: Thomas Pridgen
Really dug the Drum Channel thing. He’s a great player. Plays from the gut. AND, he’s gotten better at expressing himself verbally.

Re: Looking for harder wearing stick tips
I too got tired of buying a pair of sticks for 8 bucks, playing one or two tunes with the band, only to have half the tip missing. So, because I like the girth of a 5B, AND have a similar style to Sucherman, switched to the VF SD10 Swinger. Tips don’t chip. The only time they have was when I was usi...

Re: RIP Pat Torpey :(
Pat was such a creative rock drummer and apparently a really good and nice guy to those that knew him. I was and am a big fan. I’ve got most of the earlier Mr. Big stuff , as well as Pat’s solo record, Odd Man Out (which is terrific). This one hurts a lot.
