I doubt the lines will disappear because according to Yamaha, it's all based on their design and technology. Sakae is just a puppet

Not positive, but I think only the kick drum pedals were made at the bike factory.

my feeling is his drums sound much better than his last kit "gretsch". there's a nice warm tone to the kit which he hasnt had since his Yamaha days

Jim, i have a question. with Sakae making drums under their own name, doesn't that come off as a conflict for Yamaha at all? just curious

from what i heard at NAMM, Sakae and Yamaha are no longer in a partnership. maybe one of our Yamaha friends can clarify this to be true or false

i had the chance to see Gavin and talk with him briefly. the new snare is really cool.
