Freddy grip. It's a mind control cult. Corrected. Honestly unless someone could break down why and how, with examples of before and after... it just sounds like some bullshit party line. These guys are all monsters, giants of their instruments. Far above us. It's like the mouse saying to the cheeta...

Re: scotland zildjian day complete
Thanks! Peter Erskine on the cocktail kit pretty much blows all the other drummers away IMHO. Oh, and Dennis. lol really?? blows them away? maybe it's just the fact I got back from a little party, so I feel a need for a slightly buzzed reply :).. I can always understand when someone says they liked...

Re: becomming a better drummer
Hey Guys, thanks for the input. The opening clip is there just to give some sort of legitimacy to me that I am not a total hack...I am not a "cool fill" type of guy- never had a bag of goto impressive fills... but I have jumped leaps and bounds in my most important goal playing wise in tha...

Drumming prowess based on band
alrighty, I got in an argument with a friend of mine about a subject I don't seem to be on the same page with everyone else. So, I thought ...since you all here have strong opinions, I would take it to you... first, the premise of the argument..that pop/rock drummers are judged way more by the band ...

Re: Poll: Timekeeping... external or internal?
I think how you word something is incredibly important, and when I hear the phrase "inner clock" it makes me cringe, I think time is kept in a relative way compared to what was played right before it and what we expect to come after it....so it's not so much that we are keeping good time w...

Re: IDRUM magazine - Todd Sucherman and more...
I agree, very well done and obviously a lot of work into it.....but why make it in a magazine format for the web????? if it's for the internet...make it in that format. When viewing now, it only occupies 1/4 of my screen, it really makes no sense at all. I can't figure out any possible plus side to ...
