Overall, I think he plays with great expression. I agree. His feel is undeniably his, too. Few guitarists can really speak with their instruments like Beck. David Gilmore is another. Thanks for posting that.

That's the version that's seared into my memory, after watching that tape about 5 billion times over the course of years. :)

Guess the "correct" tempo is slower then.

I used Zildjian’s Vinnie model for a year or two back in the 90s. They did have a tendency to inconsistent, quality wise. Had to roll allot of sticks. Vic Firth since then. 5As and 5Bs.
