What I love about Cobham is how RAW his feel is, even when he's playing super-technical stuff. An innovator and a drummer's drummer, IMO.

Not a very long solo (just under 4 minutes), but man..

It's way too early to start making assumptions about why Vinnie switched, IMHO.
All I know is that Vinnie will sound like Vinnie no matter what he's playing. He's THAT good.
