22 k dark medium, I have a brilliant finish one which is a little brighter (supposed to be the only one they made in brilliant for an endorser) 21 special dry, not for volume but the bell is a work of art. 21 Paiste Dark energy mk 2 is amazing my 22 A Custom is a little light and washy for my tastes...

I wonder about the whole strength/speed thing, I've been described by others as fast and dexterous, but when I see some guys I realise that there is a lot further to go for the speed to match these gospel chops guys, but then do I need too? I have strength, not muscles so much, but I can play for 2 ...

I use V-expressions kits that I have modified to make my own, I trigger from my toms and kick to get the sound to the audience on bigger gigs, and they blend well with my real kit....Also using them as the pure TD-12 on recordings for local musicians and they love them, I don't really use them live ...
