Of course a lot of us are familiar with Gavin's collaboration with bassist 05Ric, but have you heard the guy play drums?
I really like this sort of jazz-ish/ experimental type of playing. Really nice stuff.

I really love stuff like this. Man, Jeff just nails it. At that tempo that groove could really get out of control; not with Jeff. It kills me how consistent guys like him are. Nice stuff.

Come on man, "Thriller" is an historical album, two drummers, Jeff and Ndugu, noboby love to read the CD book anymore ? I can't go without reading the credit of an album, that's what bother me with iTunes.

Dave, I totally agree. The guy's laid back and has a feel that I'd put up against just about anyone. I wish I could get some recordings of his work.

Rimshots most of the time. I like to create as much contrast between accents and ghost notes but without lifting my hand too much.
