Re: Why Occupy Wall Street struck a nerve
It's really pretty simple. Laws were and are being broken on Wall St. and those criminals are not being punished. People are outraged by this injustice. They are voicing that frustration. How do some not get that? Moreover, whatever side you're on, how anyone is okay with these people being brutaliz...

Thanks for posting this Lucas! Very informative. I didn't really have the hour to watch, but I couldn't stop and watched it through the end.

Re: Pirates
I wonder how many pages this thread will go to. I went and saw John McLaughlin in Atlanta with Chick Corea and maybe I am wrong, but, I would bet he made more $ from my ticket, than he did from me buying both Inner Mounting Flame and Birds Of Fire years back. And honestly I feel the record companies...

Re: Sting w/Vinnie >>> October 1, 2011
Man I hope they tour with this lineup! I saw Vinnie for the first time this past summer with Herbie Hancock. Absolutely amazing. I have seen Sting twice, once with Manu and once with Keith Carlock. Both great shows, and it was also how I discovered Keith. Immediately after the show did some googling...

Re: Gibson raid
I didn't think we did the political argument argument thing here. Well, The numbers mentioned here at this non partisan, non biased source, geeez :? (http://patdollard.com/) are hardly 'big' numbers in party contributions. I think if either party were trying to bully a company, there are much, much,...

Re: Letterman drum solo week II
I remember meeting Stanton Moore at a small club here in Atlanta back in '95-'96 or so. I was there with a friend meeting with management asking for a gig for us under age at the time. Galactic was sound checking, and I hear that pitch control thing coming from a drum. I walked up to, the then unkno...

Re: Letterman drum solo week II
Nice work Gavin! Both you and the kit sounded great! Really fun to watch. Chops and musicality. Very well done! The finger slides across the tom and the tube/floor tom things? Nice! bringing it to the masses! I thought Tony's performance was fine too. I can't blame his sound on his DW drums though. ...

Re: Gadd
Man the three of those guys performing together at the BRMC will forever be burned into my mind. Killing all the way around. PERIOD. It must have been so cool for Dave and Vinnie to be playing with a hero of both of theirs. Now to say they 'decimated' Steve or however it was put is just, no offense,...
