The only all-in option I know is the ACS T Series Live in-ears, which have a tiny mic built into the outside of the ear bud to allow you to mix ambient sound in with your in-ear feed via a dedicated body pack. Portable In-The-Ear System

Hey folks! I'd like to find something super portable with volume control for when I'm rehearsing with a band that allows me to where my in-the-ear monitors. I've worn earplugs with reduced db but they just sound too muffled. I currently use a small Mackie mixer and condenser mic for my practice room...

I absolutely love Vinnie, but I have to agree that the drum sound leaves much to be desired. His playing is, of course, amazing and it very well could be the engineer and/or mix.

Gadd played different stuff... I mean, from burning Samba's to Eric's slow jams and blues shuffles... I may hate Gadd's drum sound, but the dude is a chameleon. I have much respect for Keith, I think he's a great player, he obviously has the chops, which is why I wonder why he keeps his playing so ...
