I have a one off Van Halen gig coming up so just did a cover of I’m The One which we will be doing.
Great fun playing this double bass shuffle.

Re: Neil Peart
15k views in about two days. Not bad but I suspect it's a slow burn from here. I think it will steadily climb! I think it is the best Neil tribute I've seen out there. Both moving, educational and inspiring. :-) I have a hard time getting more than a couple of 100 views on my videos...so I shouldn'...

Re: Assorted videos / YouTube thread
Hi guys! I've been busy learning and recording and then posting quite a bit of videos on my YouTube channel lately. :-) I initially got really inspired by going abroad and checking out Gary Husband´s new video casts series available from his website - http://www.garyhusband.com And I've just posted ...

Re: Neil Peart
Long time since I've posted here, but I am really looking forward to seeing your video Steve. Neil´s passing hit me quite hard, so I've been going through - as I guess a lot of us - many of his recordings and YouTube etc.

Re: Gary Husband
Fantastic work Gary!!
I bought all six episodes and even halfway through now I can just applaud of the the sheer amount of work, exercises, and demonastration bits that he have put into this project are truly stellar and inspirational.
Highly recommended!!

Re: Husband on Antoine Fafard new album clip
Yeah, got it. I really enjoyed this CD. And also the compositions are very nice and a bit of fresh air in this "genre".
Absolutely killer playing by Gary - on drums and keyboards.

Re: Lower The Snare
Ahh, now I see another reason for having two snare drums! You can now have one snare for an "on-top of the beat" feeling, and one LTS snare (for laid-back grooving).

Re: Drum cover - Hope by Mahavishnu Orchestra
Gary Husband called, he wants his drums back. HAHA Thank you guys! And yes, this one was quite hard for me, I must admit. I did 6 complete takes, and was like..."oh man, why is it so bloody hard?". It SOUNDS fairly easy, but to me anyway, it was hard. But I always like that quirky little ...
