Re: Grip and Fulcrum
Lately I've become interested in getting maximal response from my off hand (snare hand .. comping hand .. whatever ..), and have spent a lot of time analyzing my grip. I play matched grip most of the time. With my dominant hand, I feel I can generally get the stick to do whatever I want it to [ ......

Re: Blew my back out
And for the love of God please do not do any deadlifts or squats until you are certain that you have isolated and fixed your problem!!! Jesus... Wuut?? Man up, brother !! I´m kidding. You´re totally right. I meant it as a long term thing after you get cleared by your doctor. I started deadlifting a...

Re: Blew my back out
Does not sound like a disc issue. You will not be 30% better after a chiropractor if you herniated your disc, and you wouldn't get progressively worse after the incident-- you'd be screwed pretty instantly. Therefore, it is likely muscular. I've have had the exact same thing happen to me: felt a wei...

Josh Freese with Paramore >>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hauK8Etkfjc I've got such a dude-crush on Josh Freese. I love that he looks totally into every gig I've seen him do. That guy freakin' earns it-- how cool would it be to hire a guy with a resume like that, have him backing your band live,...

Re: Check out the track I recorded recently!
Willy, It seems that you started out as being obviously excited about this-- look at the title of the post! Now, it is "all that you have going on at the moment" and you are gong to "make the best of it". It sounds like perhaps the board has taken the wind out of your sails in re...

Re: Check out the track I recorded recently!
I guess that above point reiterates the simple fact that I, too, am grateful to the feedback from such a high quality forum. To condense my previously convoluted rant: Being that anything we create and release artistically, nowadays, has the ability to be instantly scrutinized from all angles; there...

Re: Check out the track I recorded recently!
This topic is an example of what I think this board can be an excellent learning tool. If I were someone who was trying to 'make it', which I am not, then I would be posting stuff on here to the point of getting banned. I'd take this feedback to the bank, hide it under my pillow, stick it in a condo...

Re: Check out the track I recorded recently!
She has a powerful voice-- I dig. I admit, she has a voice that would inspire me to want to come up with something left field unique as that is the treatment it needs and deserves, along the lines of what everyone else is saying-- what that would be totally escapes me. I know that sounds dumb-- play...

Don't Stop Believin'
Roxanne (The Police version)
Fool in the Rain
Jesus Christ Pose
Longview (Green Day)
Keep it Greasy
Everlong (Foo Fighters)
Little Red Corvette
Superstition (kinda cheating, cause the drum intro made the groove famous...)
