Re: Quarantine Chatty!
TOM, MY MAN !!!!!!!!!! Yummy, and that Ludwig snare looks great too !!! PS : musicians with who I play often know me, they don't care... :-) But, sometimes when I want to come with just a snare and brushes, they say no, I think that they say no because they are jealous that I can deliver with almos...

Re: Quarantine Chatty!
Nice Tom !!! It's exactly what I do, I have a drum (very ugly) in my practice room, in the same sitting than your, 2 racks, 2 floors, 2 crashes, 1 ride and hi-hat... Most of the time, I'd say 90% of the gigs I do in my area, I play now just with one ride, BD (18" with double head on almost all...

Re: Quarantine Chatty!
Nice, Jeppe! I just got this bad boy not too long ago. I haven't had this many drums since high school, always wanted the classic 2 up 2 down. And now, I can keep my 4 piece Ludwigs in cases ready to go for gigs rather than tearing down and loading up and then not setting t...

Is it okay to be jealous of both the playing AND the gear? Well, I am. Nice job!

Re: VINNIE - The thread about Colaiuta
I mean, for me, this is peak Vinnie. He's hitting the piss outta the drums and playing the CRAZIEST SHIT. Just wanted to share this one again. When I saw this as a young pup I was floored, and I still get that jolt today. What a performance.

Re: Nate Smith
I'm too old to have a "drum hero" so I will just say that Nate Smith is a guy who's playing I really admire. He makes me want to practice and try to get to that kind of level (which I never will but, still!). Edit: I have drum heroes, but they're all from my childhood. Several of them are ...

Re: Bose S1 Pro?
My buddy and sometimes bandmate is a Bose rep, and we've been using all their PA's for years now when we play. They're great. The sound is phenomenal. Highly recommend.
