I love that blend of playing smooth, yet aggressive. Very few guys can pull that off.

Seems like Gene is all over the various magazines these past few months. His playing doesn't move me like Tony Williams, JoJo or Vinnie do, but I give the guy lots of credit for his energy and raw physical ability. It would take me a long, long, time to come close to doing what he does.
