Re: Vinnie makes a subtle adjustment!
Let's not kiss Vinnie's arse here chaps. Surely this is a case of Vinnie overplaying so much that he causes his fellow musicians (and bandleader) to loose their place. If you or I were to do that on a gig... we'd get -1.

Re: Steve Hass new youtube channel!
I just saw this and had to share. This is some top notch musical interaction. Creative without throwing the band members or getting in the way, foundational, grooving, and musical. Like Scofield said in Modern Drummer magazine, It's all there with Hass. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nie-tcGjTvI Wo...

Re: Bruner with Holdsworth (Dan Quayle Edition)
Horrible, bombastic. Loud, tasteless, egotistical "look at me" playing, with no regard for his other musicians. Yes he caught the phrasing, but the blowing was awful. If that's what having ridiculous technique and fast hands does to your playing... I think I'll stick with where I am thank ...

Re: Chris Coleman
Geat Rodge. Fast and fucking furious!! A bit Gospelchops.com for me, but there's no doubt the guy is just ridiculous and definitely having fun! Now this is one of my favourite solos over a vamp. Groovy, funky, tasteful, chopsy and musical. Andy has now left London and moved back to Perth. Let's just...

Re: WTF Vinnie from the Chaka DVD (UNSEEN FOOTAGE)
Thanks for the link Juan and John. Ridiculous! Funny though, as I was watching this I thought if I shredded (obviously not with his skills) like this on a soundcheck, I'd get fired! Who blows so loudy, sheds and practices like this on soundchecks?
