Re: The Best & Worst Things Of Being An Older Drummer

My thoughts are realistic, which is worse. But don't worry I don't need help. Next year is the defining point for my drumming expectations in life, if I fail again I will just leave it and that's it. What are your expectations anyway? All I know is that you are setting up yourself for failure thru ...

I continue thinking that if musicians have to create the music, pay to record it and then be the ones to market it and take care of the business side of it to make aprox the same money than before when the task...

Re: Meet the new boss

Re: Meet the new boss

Re: Meet the new boss

I just think the average music buyer and the distributing tech giants seem to be oblivious of the work and costs it takes to create musical content. Recordings are sounding every day worse because people don't have the capital to record properly and home recording doesn't really cut it. Add to this ...

Re: Meet the new boss

Very enlightening, I think the conclusion is very clear, and I happen to agree from personal experience. Taking away the factor of financing content creation is enough to take away any benefit the digital distribution might be argued to bring. I would just do a quick text edition to that one, some m...
