If you are dropping 2000 euro, I would consider looking at the 2Box Drumit Five set. I have been following their progress since the 2008 NAMM show in LA, and was impressed at how well the drums felt to play, the trigger sensitivity, the sounds, the interchangeability of the heads(use any head you want), and many other aspects of the kit/module. They seem to have come a long way since then, and other than they are hard to find(nearly impossible here in the states), I have heard nothing but good things. Again, my opinion, but you are getting the same quality, and versatlity of a Roland TD20, or the high end Yamaha electronic kit for less than half of the cost. Definitely worth a look.

Yes, this looks like a really nice kit. But it has limited inputs. And if you did want to use it for doing midi tracks, would the hihat controller work? I know ddrum had problems in the past about hihat/midi function with using other external sounds. (since this company is the original ddrum guys)

FWIW, I've had a Roland TD-12 kit for the past few years.. Is it real, no. Does it take slightly different technique to play, yes..Is it the best practice tool I've ever had, without question yes... Is it an overpriced practice set, yup...but...... if you can swing these type of sets and you have limited spacial , time or sound issues, worth every cent... They record extremely well and I'm still surprised how well they track especially after sometime with them. The ability to change great sounds when you feel like being, ok, having drums that sound similar to Keltner or Jack or whomever is amazing..
