While I would like to put my foot on it to find out, from Jojo's description, I don't think this is the pedal for me. I prefer some resistance, and I actually do not like when the pedal becomes invisible. But im sure if there was a pedal that could change my mind, Jojo would create it.

It would certainly make sense if that's going to happen sometime in the near future.

I actually emailed him ...hmm. 2-3 years ago and he wrote back at the time saying he was working on it. Likely the release of the pedal (I would think anyway) will be close to his DVD...lets hope.

thank god its a strap drive. (although you can get a chain, but chains are dumb in terms of 'a chain with no teeth goes nowhere').

I was fascinated by the linear motion video; sounds like he's right. Alot of times my foot DOES come back faster than the pedal; and I never really understood why. I guess part of it is the cam.

If they charge like $200, I think its a bloated price. That pedal looks like it cost maybe $100 to manufacture. I'd gladly pay $150.

I like that it's simple, I'm a little disappointed that it's not really anything innovative; I'd love to see someone make a pedal with no resistance pre-stroke, just like with the hands.

just read a disturbing quote of 229 Euros, which is $300? Ugh. I'll look for a camco on ebay for that price....

Well, wait. thats probably full retail. If you figure 25 percent off that, the street price is still about $225.

If it's only $300 I'll be amazed.

The Sonor Giant Step is roughly around about $365 US, I'm guessing this is going to be $400, at least.
It's a signature product (although it's not strictly in his name) and manufactured by a company renowned for making very expensive gear.

Looks interesting, I'd at least like to try it...

It won't feel like any other pedal out there. It is different. It's not the same old stuff with a big shot name on it. I'm sure some people will love it and others... not so much.

This clip is in German (Musikmesse Frankfurt) but there are some close ups which you might find interesting.
It's gonna be available by end of April.
