JOEL ROSENBLATT - Play Along CD and Video

Postby Juan Expósito » Mon Apr 02, 2012 1:06 pm

I bought these play alongs some time ago and I´ve received this mail.

THE PLAY ALONG INFO:
"As customers of the CD “Double B Double V”, Play Along Jazz wants to tell you about new video content on the site. Joel Rosenblatt, world-class musician and drummer on the CD, has produced performance/tutorial videos for 8 of the songs on the CD.
Each package contains a video of Joel playing along to the song as well as extended commentary from him on how he approached the drum part, how and why he made his musical choices. The package also contains the play along track minus the drums AND the lead sheet.
For those of you who have already purchased the play along track and/or lead sheet, the video is also available separately at a reduced price.
This link will bring you to the video section where you can also sample all the videos in our exclusive montage on YouTube..."

If you have already bought the audio play along, you can buy now the video tutorial about each tune (it says VIDEO)
If you haven´t got the audio yet, you can buy the VIDEO PACKAGE of each tune ( a zip file with the audio play along, video commentary, lead sheet...)

I saw him with Spyro Gyra in 1995.
I had a little chat with him before the concert, and with other members of the group.
Talking with the bassist...Scott Ambush build his own basses !!
This is the tour I saw them, but with vibraphonist Dave Samuels on the band.
Very tight and tasteful playing here, 44 minutes of concert, and nice interviews.

Next time was with Bill Evans 2-3 years ago.
