Billy Sheehan is a monster. I remember seeing Talas at the Gasworks in Toronto back in 79/80. He was on fire then, and he's still one of a kind.

Very Mr. Big like intro and verse. Typical Richie chorus, who on the verses sounds a lot like Chris.

I think it has hit potential.

Obviously it's a chop fest for the teenagers and could be played so much simpler, but it's fun and at least they're sharing the "overplaying" between all the instruments.

At least it's better than Yellow Matter Custard... That project was pretty shocking. Guess he's got a bit more time on his hands these days (when he's not throwing a tantrum on stage that is...).

+1 on Billy Sheehan - What a monster!

Does anyone remember this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Va1phBPdHt0

Personally, I'm looking forward to picking this record up.
