RIP Dallas Taylor

Postby langmick » Tue Feb 10, 2015 7:53 am

Just found out he recently passed.

You may not know the name, but he played on some great recordings, and with a great feel. Like Ringo, but a little heavier, and more solid time.

I played along to so many of these songs growing up...those fills. So many great tunes on this record.

Thanks! There are so many drummers who played significant roles in the lives of others.
I can become so "celebrity drummer" centered at times I need to pick up old LP's,
glance on the inner liner notes and become reacquainted at all the "Dallas Taylors"
that played a role in what we call MUSIC!

Thanks for sharing this. I've un-knowingly listened to him a TON! RIP and thanks for the music.
