I just got some Vater 2Bs to try and I absolutely hate them. I love the 5B and figured these would just be a bit thicker, but the balance is different and the tip is totally different. I need to find a better source for "fresh" Vic Firth sticks. It's too bad they don't stamp them with a date of manufacture and/or a "use-by" date.
