i think it taps disrespect...like having an intimate conversation with someone and
they want to record it. does take one out of the moment and there's a selfish stream
happening. the phone thing is totally out of control today...totally. i don't think i
sit at a traffic light without seeing the car next to me with a younger person NOT on
their device. dad driving daughter home from school and she is locked...this does
negatively impact being in the moment with dad or mom, friend, etc. it communicates
i am not enough...distraction, narcissistic neediness to control. will have a dramatic
impact on what is already a troubled society pertaining to marriage and intimacy.
There was a time a family ate dinner together and actually interacted without the TV
on. Father's Day a guest was on her phone texting at the table...it was rude. Then she
isolated to the chair and continued after. real problem.
