My recent purchases

Postby drummer from Kansas » Thu Feb 24, 2011 3:26 pm

Hi my name is Eric and just wanted to tell you guys about my new drum purchases

first off i bought the DVD "The Art of Playing With Brushes"-i just thought it would be great to have because I don"t really know how to play with brushes. I have not watched it yet but will when i have time.

My second and last purchase "Stick Control". Dont know what to think about it yet

any thoughts and opinions are welcome.

Thanks

Eric

The classic stick control is for all drummers, whether if you're a beginner or a pro. If you combine all the ideas, play them in a groove etc etc you almost don't need another book. Meaning to say you can spend years and years with just this book. I 've rediscovered this book many times. and used it with the New Breed, and so on.

Have seen only brief parts of the DVD, but what I saw was great. And I like SM's open approach to drumming and towards the community.
