I'd say because that's their demographics. It's for younger folk (I'd reckon) who are at the stage of learning to play (either beginner, semi-beginner, or somewhere around the intermediate level). If you want more interesting questions you go to I'd Hit That, or Drumtalk, or that Famularo series. I remember there was a bit of a raw around here when Mike Johnston posted a lick video or whatever and complained of not being appreciated (or something like that). then one of the HODers pointed out that the people around here are here to discuss whether Vinnie can swing properly and not to learn the sticking of a gospel fill.

The free Drumeo stuff is made to be accessible and in reality it's as much a promo as anything else.

There an and additional lesson for members and many of the artists have their own intructional stuff if you want to go deep into their own thing.

If you want personal interviews someone's full history, then yes, there are other avenues for that.

All I hear is musical Tourettes syndrome when I hear guys like Dave King.

It's bizzare because he has tons of ability, skill and knowledge but his playing sound like he doesn't.

Maybe that's the point.. I dunno...
