I dig Vinnie for all the obvious reasons...but this intro is what really does it for me.
Hey...I'm Pocketplayer right? The groove on this song makes for repeated listening.
Some of my favorite Vinnieisms are found on his pop recordings like SheDaisy, Wang Chung,

He is the man. Gotta love his signature hihat flurries, as in the example. Fat groove. I've always noticed how the drum "sound" and mix seems to play a big role how the groove is shaped. But of course the razor time and confidence are never replaced.
