I was at the clinic in Dublin and he said the reason for the change was more volume for less effort, simple as that! :)

I REALLY love the fact that he's throwing some italian's words here and there, nice effort to do while you are in another country, NICE Gavin, and what beautiful snare drums sound.
I come from Tain, Vinnie, Omar, Jeff, Fish, Stewart, and many more...
