Yamaha Absolute Hybrid Maple
Re: Yamaha Absolute Hybrid Maple
Looks like a Maple Custom.
I come from Tain, Vinnie, Omar, Jeff, Fish, Stewart, and many more...

Re: Yamaha Absolute Hybrid Maple
Had to take a trip today and offcourse then stopped by the closest music store to get some sticks.. They always have Stage Customs there, but they didn't today.
Small store, Norwegian small town size, so they only have two kits and today it was a Live Custom and an Absolute Hybrid Maple.
It is a second choice for me compared to the Gretsch sound I'm saving up for, but I really like these as a more punchy alternative.
Long time since I played a PHX drum. Not really the same thing as they have so much bottom. Different enough that I wouldn't call them better, just different. Think it's the Hybrids for me personally.

I think Louie is selling/trading his Hybrids... What happened with the Heuer kit, Louie?
