I expect you to drop at least 2, maybe even 3 sticks.
A jazz brush dance would also be nice. Preferably wearing a tutu.

Not wishing to hijack sjj's thread but since we're talking about Gretsch, new products and unboxing, here's my brand spanking new drum which I'm excited about. Arrived this afternoon by UPS from Germany and only took 2 days. Looks, feels and sounds exactly as expected. Beautiful!

Re: Gretsch Brooklyn's
My best friend had the same issue - fell in love with Brooklyns, couldn't find the right sizes. So he bought 24, 13, 16 shell pack and the shop ordered the 18" floor he wanted direct from Gretsch. It took about 13 months in the end, something like that, an unbelievable saga! So I'd keep searching, rather than ordering...
(It was worth it though, the tom is a monster.)

I waited about 3 months for what I ordered: 20, 16, 10 plus mount...$1900. The drums are beautiful. They tune easily and tolerate high and low tunings well. Diggin the 20" kick which I had never played prior.
Learning new Phish & Dead & Co tunes over the weekend for upcoming gig in some of the best weather we've had.
I have New Beat Hi Hats from 1979 and a COB Ludwig Snare from the 70's
I sold a vintage Yamaha MC kit in 1 night on ebay! Couldnt believe it
